FeedBurner Ahora integrado a Blogs de Blogspot (como este)

La paciencia paga. Mientras muchos se cansaron de Blogger por sus limitaciones y migraron a otras plataformas para bloguear, especialmente WordPress (que sigue siendo de lo mejor que hay y es de código abierto), el nuevo Blogger sigue mejorando. En mi blog he estado experimentando con algunas de las nuevas herramientas que me provee, como la función de encuestas, directamente integrada desde Blogger y no de una tercera fuente. Ahora puedo incorporar video directamente y convertir mi blog en un vlog (video blog, aún no lo he usado) sin esfuerzo mayor.

Ahora me entero de que mis "feeds" de Blogger pasan directamente a Feedburner (FB) con tan sólo colocar la dirección de mi feed de FB en Blogger. Ya lo hice, en un dos por tres. Todo esto se debe a que Google compró a Feedburner recientemente. Por si esto fuera poco los servicios Feedburner Stats Pro y MyBrand, por los cuales había que pagar, son ahora gratis. Viva Google.

Google comprará a Feedburner

Por lo menos eso dicen los tambores de guerra. El rumor se está esparciendo como la llama del logo del sitio Feedburner. Ésta es la plataforma principial para la sindicación de contenidos de blogs en el mundo. De ser así no les extrañé que Feedburner sea integrado de forma transparente a Google Blogger, la plataforma de blogs bajo la cual está hecho este blog (i.e. Blogspot).

Is Google about to buy Feedburner for $100 Million? TechCrunch reports that the sale is confirmed,

"Feedburner is in the closing stages of being acquired by Google for around $100 million. The deal is all cash and mostly upfront, according to our source, although the founders will be locked in for a couple of years. The information we have is that the deal is now under a binding term sheet and will close in 2-3 weeks, and there is nothing that can really derail it at this point."

Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) is pretty good at getting the word out, but it's about to get even better. TechCrunch is reporting that the search engine leader is set to acquire syndicating star FeedBurner for around $100 million.

No, Google hasn't confirmed the deal, but TechCrunch is usually pretty good about staying one step ahead of the press releases. Besides, the founder of FeedBurner just happens to be a former TechCrunch editor.

It's easy to see why Google would be smitten by the site. FeedBurner is an enabler of Really Simple Syndication (RSS), pushing blog, video, and podcast content of willing contributors to subscribers. Currently, FeedBurner services more than 422,000 publishers.

Insisto en que me quedo con Google. Y con esta plataforma (Blogger) para mis blogs.
